                On the hearing of ŠLJIVIĆ-FIŠER TEREZA; Housewife, born October 1, 1893. in Perlez, district of Beckerek, from father Marko Fischer and mother Ernestine, born. First, the residing in Perlez, by the ethnicity of Jewish, unpunished, with a flat in Belgrade in Pozarevacka Street. No.2, which stated on the questions asked:

                As I said before, I was born in Perlez, as a Jew, to where I lived for a long time. Earlier I was appointed at a post office in Novi Sad, where I met with Sljivic Ostoja, a merchant, with whom I later married in a civil marriage. In Novi Sad with Sljivic I lived from 1927 to 1935, after that we moved to Belgrade, where we lived until his death, and he died in 1939.

                My mother, Ernestina Fischer, who is 71 years old, lived with me communally in Belgrade, and I had registered her too as a Jew to the Jewish department for the first time, but at the second time I did not register her at all, I did not report her at all, and I did not do that for I was afraid for her in the camp, and in that way I wanted to move her away from it. When I married my husband, I was converted into Orthodox faith, but I have no proof of that, and therefore I am still a Jew.

                During the transfer of certain Jewish families from Banat, various Jews came to me, mainly from Perlez and Pancevo in the last few days, which I used to feed and sometimes help. These Jews left me valuables, as well as gold, cash, clothes, laundry etc, when they visited me. So after these Jews were taken to the camp, in my apartment, I held a hidden bag, which contained cash, but I do not know how much was there. Likewise, a lot of clothes and shoes were hidden at my place, and all this was hidden in the basement. Gold-jewelry and cash were hidden in my bedroom closet. One day, that was at 12 o'clock. there was a robbery of my apartment and on that occasion, and only what belonged to those Jews, was taken, namely all of the gold and cash. Whoever committed the theft is unknown to me.

                It was known to me that it was forbidden to hide Jewish property and that I had to declare the same to the authorities, I did not do it consciously because I was afraid of the authorities and that I thought that the same gold and money could be returned at some point in time to the owners, or that I might later use it. Regarding the above statement, I declare that the following Jews came to my house: the Miler family, Pancevo, the Nadas family, Pancevo, the Heler family from Perlez and Mrs. Sullman from Vienna. Now all of these Jews are in the camp.

                I was mainly supported by my income because I was employed as an official in the garage "Progres", where I received a wage in the amount of 2,000 dinars, and besides that I rented apartment to the tenants and received about 1,000 dinars from it.

                I admit that I have done the aforementioned guilt consciously and willingly, and I have done it all out of the fear for my mother and myself, what we are considered Jews, that we will be taken to the camp, like all the rest of the Jews. I have nothing else to say. The examination was read to me and I admit it to myself in my opinion.
