About the HANA MAJIROVIĆ, housewife from Belgrade.

I

My name is MAJIROVIĆ HANA / born SEKULOVIĆ ANDJA, born in 1905 in Proložac, Imotski region, father of Pavle and mother Anica Glehd, ethnically Serbs, crossed into my own faith, married to Jewish Mirko Majirović, un-accused and police unpunished, illiterate, with a flat in Vojislava Ilića street no. 81.

II

I have been living in Belgrade since 1926. Until 1934, I worked in the private houses as a room maid, and in that year I married a Jewish Mirko Majirovic, a sales assistant, with whom I lived in marriage until our arrest, that is, until April 7 this year.

Me and my husband have never dealt with politics, since politics did not care about us, and I, as an illiterate woman, did not have any meaning for it. From 1938 until March 1 this year we lived in Stiska street no. 26, when we moved to Vojislav Ilić Street no. 81, where we now live. Since the war, my husband has been at home at home and has never been out of the country, since he was hiding as a Jew, for fear of being shot. When the last order came, according to which all the Jews had applied, I told my husband that he should also apply, but he replied that he would not, because he was afraid that he would not be shot. So he stayed in hiding, until our arrest by the City Administration. During this time, as I already stated, Mirko did not go anywhere from home. It is true that for some time we went to the Krivokucha Savka, who lived in the same house, and only for certain domestic needs. We did not conduct any political discussions  in her apartment. Savka had a radio, but Savka did not use it in our presence, and therefore it's not true that we have been listening to her in the apartment with radio-London and Moscow radio broadcasts, and I also do not know if someone else did. Regarding Olga Jovanovic, a private clerk, who lived with Savka as a single woman, I declare that I myself did not know much, so I had nothing to do with it.

While I lived with my husband in Stiska street no. 26, to my apartment a friend Milivoje Pavlović, a chauffeur or my husband's friend, some Slovenian Marica, as I recall only once. No one else was visiting, either in Stska st. or in Vojislava Ilića street.

That's all I have to say in the aforementioned case, I'm not Communist, and I have nothing to do with the Communists. Since I did not do anything that would be contrary to the law and the existing order, and in fact, I am an Aryan, or a Serbian woman of the Orthodox religion, I ask you not to go to prison.

The hearing has been read to me, and all my words are faithfully recorded in it.

Since the investigation could not establish anything concrete, which would give rise to the suspicion that a Communist was the named, that is, after she had converted into Moses' faith, to transfer her to the Department for Jews UG.B, and to hand over the case to the Archive for the record.
