Johannes Ibel has, while working within the digital department od the Flossenburg Memorial and Museum greatly contributed to the development of the databases on the forced labourers at the Flossenburg camp.

During his lecture at the symposium in Nuremberg, Johannes Ibel has presented the work on the data gathering, the functions and use of the online database, as well as the methodologies of classification, access and search options applied to the data, with a particular accent on the archival fonds on the internees from Serbia.
