Leibnitz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies, Regensburg<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Sabine Rutar is a research associate at the Leibnitz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies in Regensburg and the Managing Editor of the Su\u0308dosteuropa Journal for Policy and Society. The main focus of her research is the European history between the 19th and 21st century, with emphasis on the history of labour, nationalism, National Socialism, communism, and memory policies.<\/p>\n

In the presentation delivered at the Symposium in Nuremberg, Sabine Rutar was mostly focused on the Bor mine, as one of the significant resources for the German economy during the Second World War, addressing the issues related to the food supply to forced labourers, making a comparison with circumstances in the mines in Slovenia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
